Hey There.

So I finaly knocked down that wall in the future-studio:

The room is now way brighter and looks a lot bigger. Hint less is often more.

Just a note. When you are building something, always consider how easy it will be to take it apart, upgrade it, rearrange it or remove it. Digital products are easy to "remove", but when it comes to the physical world, that's a whole other story.

🔬 Weekly experiment 20, 2021

Today I want to touch on the topic of rules. The essay Rules? Nah here . Go read it, then ask yourself are you doing exactly as they told you, or are you exploring the world with an open mind?

Often we perceive whatever an expert says as absolute truth. Still, the reality is that in 99% of the cases, what the expert says holds for a specific context and not entirely for you.

So you want to write? Good, find your own way and your own style. Don't try to imitate others and follow every piece of their advice.

Yes, listen to the experts. They are experts for a reason but keep an open mind and experiment. Most advice only makes sense once we apply it to our own lives.

How creators experiment?

This week we have a Q & A with Software developer Vikram. Read his take on experimentation.

I need to review the small lego blocks of work I did and see what else I'm missing to complete the e-book. One possible title:

Books Leveraging writing to sustain the 21st-century information overload

Don't worry, I'll notify you when it's ready.

Why? I'm the boss around here, and I get to do what I want 😛

Actually, there is a good reason: Mainly simplification for website management. Managing three different servers and newsletters on top of the full-time job is a pain in the ass.

Will you again have to listen to me talk about software and physics?

Yes, but only if you want to.

What we're going to do is that the newsletter will get segmented into sections:

• Main: Life Experiment
• Add-on: Thinking Through Writing
• Add-on: Software Development
• Add-on: Freedom Career Journal
• Add-on: (Computational) Physics

The quality of the newsletter won't change, but some technical posts are coming back for those who want them. I'm writing them anyway, just don't have the delivery system yet.

The reality is this.

I'm not just a blogger. I'm also a physicist and a coder.

With each Add-on, you get access to more of my takes and personality.

I'll roll out the feature once it's tested, so let me know which Add-on you want to be the test rabbit for.
